Bon Voyage!

Bon Voyage!

In just eight days I will be saying goodbye to this sunburnt country and taking a big jet plane to the Emerald Isle itself, finally travelling along with my beloved fictional characters!
And I want to share my travels with you. :)
Over the next six weeks I will blog weekly about my travels and share my experience of backpacking in the UK. As my first big trip overseas, I'm pretty excited!
I hope to share some of my favourite moments with you all and maybe, you'll get hit with the travel bug too.

Photo: Glendalough in County Wicklow will still your mind, inspire your heart and fill your soul. People have been visiting the 'valley of the two lakes' for thousands of years. http://bit.ly/Tm8mvs

So jump on up to the right-hand side of this page and follow along. Can't wait to share my tales of the evergreen hills of Ireland, the rugged highlands of Scotland and the bustling city of London!

  3. I hope it's a wonderful trip for you Whitney... I'm not sure why you want to head that way in winter though! Brrr.
There's a lot on your blog to look through, I look forward to learning more about you.
    Best wishes

    1. Thank you, Lily!
Haha, I know, I'm dreading the weather. But I've heard that you have to experience the UK in both Summer and Winter haha. I'm actually looking forward to seeing the snow and would prefer it over the rain. Fingers crossed the weather plays nicely while I'm there haha.
I'm glad you enjoy my blog and hope to bring you more :)

Have a wonderful trip.If you go to County Clare and come across the village of Tulla and see the name Molony (note the spelling) you'll be in the land of my ancestors.

I hope the weather co-operates for you but it can be a fickle beast so all the best and do keep us up to date so we can enjoy it vicariouslly.
